Stacey Spencer, Ed.D.

Dr. Stacey L. Spencer is a New Jersey licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, New Jersey. Dr. Spencer completed her postdoctoral training at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine; NYU Medical Center. She also completed a second postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology with a private practice affiliated with Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. She received a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Specialties include comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults following concussion and other acquired brain injuries.   Additionally, neuropsychological evaluation focus may include concerns regarding attention and learning differences.   She provides individual psychotherapy with a cognitive behavioral approach with children and adults.  Lastly, Dr. Spencer provides cognitive rehabilitation to aide in compensatory strategies for executive dysfunction following brain injury, learning differences and academic struggles related to ADHD and other learning disabilities.

Boards on which Dr. Spencer serves include the Committee of Legislative Affairs for the New Jersey Psychological Association and the New Jersey Neuropsychological Society.
