Toby G. Dauber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25-years of experience in working with adolescents and adults. Ms. Dauber’s practice includes individual, family, marital and group therapy.  Ms. Dauber has specialized post-graduate training in Sex Therapy from Rutgers Medical School (Robert Wood Johnson).  In addition to her clinical practice, she frequently lectures and provides workshops on various topics, including “Parenting Tactics that Work,” “Motivating your Teens,” “Managing your Stress,” “Creating a Better Sex Life” and “Coping with Chronic Illness.”

Ms. Dauber has extensive clinical experience. She was employed at Fair Oaks Hospital as the Family Therapist on the Drug/Alcohol Unit for several years. Following this, Ms. Dauber became Director of Social Services at Charter Behavioral Health System in Summit. Her responsibilities there included implementing clinical programs, supervision of clinical staff and coordination of the inter-disciplinary teams.

For a decade prior to coming to The Morris Psychological Group, Ms. Dauber served as the Student Assistance Counselor for Ridge High School in Bernard’s Township. She helped students and their families with a variety of problems that included crisis intervention, panic and anxiety, depression, school refusal, substance abuse, self-mutilation, divorce, illness and death. Ms. Dauber led many groups on topics such as enhancing social skills, stress management, improving self-esteem and organizational skills.

Most recently, Ms. Toby Dauber has begun to specialize in working with people who have chronic illnesses. She helps individuals by providing them with opportunity to look at life differently, while gaining courage and determination at the same time. Ms. Dauber’s empathic listening along with her sense of humor gives people hope to find new ways to fulfill themselves.  Ms. Dauber is a member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
