| He is a Diplomate in Clinical Social
Work with specialized training in: Short Term Psychotherapy, Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, Treating Personality Disorders, Clinical Hypnosis
and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He earned his Masters Degree
in Clinical Social Work from New York University after receiving
his B.A. from Ithaca College.
He lectures to both professional and public groups on a variety
of topics including: hypnosis, stress management, overcoming anxiety
and panic, and making successful behavioral changes (e.g. weight
management and smoking cessation).
While serving as the Regional Manager for a national employee assistance
program, he designed and implemented programs on stress and wellness
for employees of Fortune 500 companies. He was formerly a staff
psychotherapist at both UMDNJ in Newark, New Jersey and St. Clare’s
Hospital in Denville, New Jersey.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including The
National Association of Social Workers, the American Society of
Clinical Hypnosis, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and
the National Register of Clinical Social Workers.
