| Dr. Richard Dauber is a founding
partner of the Morris Psychological Group, P.A. and Director of Child
and Adolescent Services. Dr. Dauber is a clinical psychologist, whose
practice includes individual, marital, family and group therapy of
children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Dauber also specializes in
clinical hypnosis and sports psychology. |
Dr. Dauber received his
B.A. in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated
Magna Cum Laude. He received both his Masters and Ph.D. in clinical
psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Dauber completed
a clinical externship in child psychology at the Siegel Institute
of Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago as well as his internship at
Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco. He has specialized post-doctoral
training in family therapy, hypnosis, short-term therapy and forensic
psychology.
Dr. Dauber was formerly a staff psychologist at St.
Clare's Hospital in Denville as well as senior psychologist at the
Dutton Counseling Center in Morristown.
Dr. Dauber has published several articles and frequently
lectures to both professional and non-professional groups on a variety
of topics including: Hypnosis, stress management, family relations,
parenting issues, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
and sports psychology. Dr. Dauber is a member of many professional
organizations including: The New Jersey Psychological Association,
The American Psychological Association, The American Society of
Clinical Hypnosis, The Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey,
and the NJPA Committee on Sport Psychology. In addition, Dr. Dauber
has twice served as president of the Morris County Psychological
Association. |
